Your tasks:


  • Participate in a 5‑year, structured on‑the‑job training programme in Germany in the field of structural diagnostics (BW‑Diagnostik) and building / infrastructure inspection (Bauwerksprüfung)
  • Support in the planning, preparation and execution of inspections of bridges, buildings and other structures
  • Apply and further develop methods of structural diagnostics and non‑destructive testing (NDT) under guidance of senior experts
  • Record, evaluate and document inspection and measurement results in standardized reports
  • Contribute to the assessment of structural condition and to recommendations for maintenance, repair and monitoring
  • Work closely with our design, rehabilitation and site supervision teams in Germany
  • Take part in internal and external trainings on German standards and guidelines for structural inspection
  • Gradual assumption of project responsibility in line with your growing experience and qualifications

Our expectations:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Ideally 2–5 years in property planning, structural engineering, and construction management for infrastructure projects
  • Strong interest in structural diagnostics, inspection and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure
  • Willingness to relocate to Germany for at least 3 years (ideally for the full 5‑year programme)
  • Valid B1 German language certificate from a recognized institution (e.g. Goethe‑Institut, TELC, ÖSD or equivalent) at the start of employment
  • High motivation to further improve your German to a professional working level
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written)
  • High level of reliability, responsibility and safety awareness when working on construction sites and at height
  • Structured, analytical way of working and enjoyment of practical, hands‑on tasks
  • Ability to work in a team and in an intercultural environment
  • Namibian citizenship
