Your tasks:

• Prepare formwork and reinforcement drawings for structural and engineering structures projects


• Produce design, detail and execution drawings for new-build and refurbishment projects


• Assist in the development, detailing and planning of various projects in structural engineering


• Support the structural engineering team with the preparation of technical drawings and project documentation


• Ensure that drawings are prepared accurately, on time and in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards and technical specifications


• Contribute to the implementation and development of BIM workflows within projects


• Revise and update drawings based on engineer comments, site requirements and project changes


• Liaise with engineers and other project team members to ensure coordinated and efficient drawing production


• Assist in maintaining drawing registers and organised project records

Our expectations:

• Successfully completed training as a Draughtsman / Draftswoman or a comparable qualification


• Experience in the preparation of structural drawings, particularly formwork and reinforcement drawings, is highly desirable


• Sound knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Nemetschek or Revit


• Knowledge of BIM is an advantage


• Professional experience in structural / engineering structures projects is desirable, although motivated entry-level candidates may also be considered


• Structured, accurate and result-oriented way of working with a strong eye for detail


• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage drawing production in line with project deadlines


• Reliable, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team


• Good communication and computer skills


• German language proficiency would be a strong advantage

Your tasks:

• Assist the Senior / Project Engineers in the planning, design and implementation of engineering structures projects


• Prepare structural designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation for new-build and rehabilitation projects


• Support the delivery of projects in the fields of buildings, bridges and other engineering structures


• Ensure that drawings, calculations and specifications comply with approved design documents, applicable regulations and technical standards


• Assist with construction supervision, site inspections and quality control during project implementation


• Support project management and contract administration duties across the project life cycle


• Liaise with clients, project managers, architects, contractors, authorities and other stakeholders


• Contribute to the improvement of technical and organisational work processes within the team


• Provide structural engineering support from concept development through to detailed design and construction

Our expectations:

• BSc Civil Engineering, BEng Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification


• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in structural / engineering structures design


• Experience in the design and/or supervision of building and engineering structures projects


• Sound knowledge of structural analysis, design standards and technical regulations


• Proficiency in structural design software and CAD applications


• Good project management and contract administration skills across the project life cycle


• Strong communication, report writing and computer skills


• Independent, quality-conscious and cost-conscious way of working


• Organised, goal-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team


• High level of commitment, flexibility and ability to work under pressure


• Should be eligible for professional registration with ECN within 3 years after appointment, if not yet registered


• German language proficiency would be a strong advantage


• Valid Driver’s License
